did you know that (about 15 days ago) Lara Stone married David Walliams?
Yes she did, 17th May, Lara Stone (26 years old, I thought she was younger) married the comedian David Walliams (38 years old) ♥
She wore two Givenchy dresses, one to the ceremony, one after it, but the thing is that not many "fashion" people went to the wedding, maybe because of the fashion week...

Reading material

As you know (and want), sunny and beach/swimming pool days are coming, and what do we all need these days? reading material (I mean books, apart from magazines)


Classy it's a really nice book, like a gossip friend. With many pictures that make the reading (and comprehension) easier. Everything the classy girl should know about protocol, fashion, behaviour...

Teen Vogue handbook actually, I haven't read the whole book yet, I've just read a few pages.
It's nice, for young people who want to know a bit more about what do fashion workers. Full of interviews and information about fashion editors, photographers, designers...

Who What Wear a book made by the girls from WhoWhatWear. A (simple) style book, which gave me really nice fashion tips (it was my first fashion book) about what to wear at a certain event, what suits me...

The Sartorialist it's a great PHOTOGRAPHY book. I don't know what you've imagined about it, but I expected a bit more writting (it's all full of street style photos, men and women), anyway, a really great source of inspiration.

Study celebrities
Try to find a celebrity with a similar body to you , look at her photos and copy what looks good on her.
Ask
Don't be shy to stop someone on the street to ask her where she has bought something she's wearing, I do.
Buy British clothes
British designers are not scared of being too trendy. Christopher Kane is young and modern. Preen knows how to use colour and Luella is the prints queen.
Use bright colours
I've realised that when I wear bright colours, people feel atracted by me.
Trust your habilities
I hate having my hair done or people putting make up on me... and looking like a plastic doll as many people at the runway. That's the best thing about Kate Moss, it never looks like she has just left the hair dresser's.
Let your style evolve
I was very radical when I was younger, my hair was pink and I used really striking clothes, I'm more "conservative" now.
Trust versatility
Do not buy something that will stay on your closet forever. Think about something you can use during the day and night.
Bet on your good points
Highlight the part of your body you like more. I try to highligh my legs wearing short clothes.
Use accesories
If there's a trend you really like, grunge for example, use complements first. When you see you're ok with the whole look, integrate more elements and put on some make up.

Resort 2011

So, the first thing I have to say is that I'm so busy these days, that's why I don't post as often as I would like to, anyway I appreciate all your comments ♥

and now, what do you think about Chanel Resort 2011 collection? you know what I think of it, I'm not a fan of chanel but I usually like some pieces of the collection, well, the same with this one, there are many beautiful things (like abbey's new haircut, some pieces or the light blue nail polish) but it wasn't awesome
I always feel like this with so many collections, the first time I see them, I really don't like them and then, I like them a bit more when I see the clothes on the celebrities
